- Open VLC Media Player
- Click on Media and Convert / Save
- Click on Add
- Select the song you want to convert
- Click on Convert/Save
- Click Browse and navigate to the location where you want the new song to be created. Name the new file. For example, “converted_song.ogg”
- In the Settings group, choose Audio – Vorbis (OGG) from the drop-down list
- Click Start
The progress slider at the bottom of the media player should indicate your file is being converted. If it's not moving, you may need to follow the steps again. Pay close attention not to miss a step.
I strongly recommend testing your newly converted file.
